For your child's next gathering, why not have a 'learn to knit' party. For families within the New York State Hudson Valley area, I can provide a positive learning experience for your child. At the end of the lesson, the children go home with tools, materials and skills needed to let their new hobby flourish. The lesson is approximately 21/2 hours. During the lesson the children will learn how to cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch and how to bind off. Typical projects can include fingerless glove (make the other one at home), pot holder, a sample square, a pocket or a short scarf depending on the child's age.

The cost is $25.00 per child which includes needles, yarn, knitting bag and instructional  handout.

Group size is 5 - 10 children, ages 9 and up.  One adult MUST be present during the party to accompany the group. This one adult can learn to knit for free!
